Scarlet’s wedding day has finally arrived. The gang travel to Connecticut to celebrate the event, spending time at the ocean, playing golf and laser tag to relieve the stress. Now that Sean reveals he wants to take over the company, Scarlet has to convince Ryan to move with her, but then she realizes she’s leaving someone behind. Will she be able to convince Cortland as well?
When Sean’s college roommates come to the wedding, Scarlet gets another flash of Sean’s past, the despicable life he used to live. As everything rushes back to her, all the pain she went through to keep Sean in her life, she starts to feel the panic. Should she marry him? Or should leave while she still can?
Sean and Scarlet fear that Scarlet’s mother will make a visit on her special day, but they both try to ignore it and hope for the past.

I would love to give more stars for this book because I have loved the story but it seems that in this book and the last two everything has made a journey on a slippery slope, character names mixed up, inflections wrong, spelling and grammar mistakes. Generally I overlook that sort of stuff (I read alot on wattpad) but at $5 each I expected a little more, the mistakes were so bad it was distracting and I was skimming the novel just to get to the end where as Books 1-3 had me on the edge of my seat. I know that there are 10 or more books after this one but unfortunately this is where my journey ends with Sean, Scarlet and their family, I have so many questions about the other characters and how their lives end but I truly cannot keep reading. Happily Ever After Forever and Always #7 edition by E L Todd Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
although I do love the story line I found all these books interesting in the leading lady checks books for the author and tidies up the mistakes that this book has loads of them. don't get me wrong I did enjoy it even though a couple of places I had no idea what some words were supposed to be. I love the family aspect of it and how they come together, 2 young people on their own, a brother and sister and the friends that become their family. it is well worth the reads but please start from book 1 only for you and work your way through, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did
The storyline was good. The irony of it is that the book is about a book editor. I do not believe this book was edited at all. I left a constructive criticism to the author. I have never read a kindle book with so many errors. Words left out, context issues, wrong words and tenses. It looks like a text message with word suggestions. I hope the author seriously looks at it so it does not reflect on her reputation. I finished it only to have a conclusion to the story. That is why only 3 stars. An English teacher would have given a failing grade. Hundreds of errors in a book is not acceptable.
I love the story and the characters. It is not badly written. The first three books were a free boxed set and good enough to make me want to buy the rest #s 4 &5 were kind of short to be charging $4.99. But I was still into the story. I started getting annoyed in #6 because I found it ironic that a book whose main character is a manuscript editor had so many errors and was not well edited at all. Book #7 appears to not have been edited or even proof read. There are so many errors it was hard to read. Not just punctuation, grammar and spelling. "To" instead of "too", "theirs" instead of "there's" for example...too numerous to mention. But the worst part were the typos, incomplete sentences, and playing "guess what word is supposed to go here instead of this word that makes no sense whatever." This book felt like a total rip off at$4.99.
I really like Scar and Sean's story. I am just disappointed in the amount of errors in this book. It was not worth the price. At times the words in the sentence were not even close to the correct word. For example I live in a retailer in a mobile home park. There was not a lot of toom.... Not to mention the amount of times the wrong name was used. Normally I can ignore minor errors but when I have to stop to consider what the author meant to say it distracts from the over all story. I really hope the author will have this edited and allow the readers who purchased it to get a free copy of the edited version. Reluctantly I purchased the next book because I want to see where Scar and Sean's journey takes them but I hope that book was edited.
I have a business degree; not an English or Literature degree. I love a good story, and love to read....but grammar and punctuation don't normally bother me. As long as the story flows well, the style of writing doesn't bother me. But this was horribly written!!! I'm not sure if it was the writer, the publisher, or 's e-book system. This book has 179 pages and I found 82 major errors. These errors do not include punctuation, or lack of quotation marks (there are a lot of those). These are just the errors that made me stop reading, and re-read making sure I read the passage right. I believe if you are going to pay $5 plus tax, for a book; it needs to be free of typos.
If I would have purchased this book at B & N or Target, I would be returning the book.
As far as the story goes, I really enjoy the story itself. I like the characters and the story seems to keep my attention. I just can't get past all of the errors. I have gotten to book 9 and I can't go any further. I know there are at least 14 in the series so far, but I just can't do it.
So far, I haven't written any reviews for these books. I am not very good at them and other than just saying how much I enjoyed it, I don't have the "knack" for writing reviews that don't give things away.
First off, I love these characters and the entire storyline. I do feel like I am living among them. I love the interaction between them all as well and the drama! I'm going to try my best to finish this series... but....
OK, in all due respect 1)The books are a little pricey for >200 pages and with so many books in the series, it will be a $50 read or more! I think I am already up to $30. 2) The errors in this book are absolutely horrible! I would think at $5 a pop, editing would be done professionally and extensively. It isn't just a misspelling here or there, it is constant. So much so, that you have to really think about the line and the situation to make sense of the word misplacements. I am by no means a professional, but I would be thrilled to review your books and I know there would be 99% less errors.
Like I said, I am enjoying the story and I am not one to hurt any one's feelings, but WOW! Thank you for the precious story and I look forward to reading more. (I'd look even MORE forward to it if they were a little cheaper! )
I would love to give more stars for this book because I have loved the story but it seems that in this book and the last two everything has made a journey on a slippery slope, character names mixed up, inflections wrong, spelling and grammar mistakes.
